Process engineer

OMS 1 – Segni, Lazio, Italia

O.M.S., for the headquarters of SEGNI (RM) is looking for a Process Engineer company figure in charge of monitoring, implementing and improving business and production processes. More precisely, he is responsible for the optimization and supervision of all processes that allow the transformation of raw materials and semi-finished products into final products. To implement this, he studies the production processes, machinery and all the components, human or material, that take part in the production. It must be able to identify the most suitable ways to increase efficiency, limit waste and reduce costs. It actively participates in the search for solutions and production strategies, as well as in the implementation of machinery and equipment of the company in the perspective of growth and continuous improvement. Manages and monitors production flows alongside R&D and Quality, also in the resolution of internal and external (customer) problems and non-conformities. Reporting directly to the PM division.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Research, design and develop equipment and semi-automatic assembly processes integrating different technologies: fastening, screwing, welding integrating activities and phases of quality control and production flow efficiency;
  • Draw up the technical documentation of the equipment (operating instructions, process flow, WI , HQ etc)
  • Support other plants for the installation of new production lines;
  • Identify technical solutions to maximize and innovate the equipment and lines present with a view to continuous improvement;
  • PFMEA process drafting through interdisciplinary team meetings, management of control plans/process flow/error proofing detection.
  • Manage costs and timing.
  • Programme of short-term production activities
  • Ensure compliance of production processes with current regulations and internal processes and procedures
  • Perform analyses and tests to verify the effectiveness of the processes.
  • Solve any production flow problems.
  • Produce reports and documentation on production activities.
  • Monitor and review the installation and operation of equipment and machinery.
  • Evaluate the risks related to the machinery and processes of the production plant.

 

Hard skills:

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent culture
  • Good knowledge of industrial assembly and machining processes
  • 3/5 years experience in the role in electromechanical industries
  • Ability to interpret mechanical drawings and designs
  • Ability to use 3D modeling software
  • Consolidated ISO language programming capabilities, both manual and CAD-CAM systems, 3/4/5 axis CNC machining centers
  • Knowledge of mechanical design, tolerances, instrumentation, and manual and 3D part testing systems
  • Knowledge of standard and special tools for chip removal and its working parameters
  • Knowledge of English (at least C1)
  • Economic and management skills.

Buyer

OMS 1 – Segni, Lazio, Italia
The resource, to insert in the center of (RM) OMS1, answering to the Purchasing Manager, will manage the supplying of materials, members and services according to the demands of the plant, in order to guarantee the best contractual conditions of purchase in terms of quality, costs, payment terms and delivery times/methods.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Monitor price trends at current and potential suppliers with appropriate analysis of market trends.
  • Ensure adequate supply logic according to plant production needs.
  • To support activities of definition of the technical specifications of supply and optimization of the costs collaborating with the competent internal agencies (Finance, Quality, Manufacturing).
  • Manage and resolve any supply issues: non-conformity, returns, delays.
  • To collaborate in the development of the supplier park, intervening in the analysis of the markets (national and international) in order to search alternative supplying opportunities.
  • Manage negotiations with suppliers in order to obtain the best contractual conditions in compliance with procedures and defined business standards.

 

Skills Required:

  • Degree or diploma to technical address.
  • At least 2 years’ experience in the position gained within structured contexts, preferably in the engineering sector.
  • Knowledge of mechanical design and experience in purchasing semi-finished products and mechanical components to design.
  • Excellent knowledge of English.
STOREKEEPER
OMS 1 – Segni, Lazio, Italia
OMS srl is looking for a warehouse for its headquarters in Segni (RM). The resource will have the opportunity to operate within a structured and dynamic context.

PRODUCTION OPERATOR

OMS 1 – Segni, Lazio, Italia
OMS srl is looking for a Production Operator for its headquarters in Segni (RM).
The resource will oversee the operation of a CNC machine, in line with the work cycle and will perform the following tasks:
  • workpiece mounting on work tool
  • pre-setting tools and assembly of tools in machine
  • execution of the machining cycle of the intended parts
  • control of working quotas
  • batch processing start
  • routine maintenance of the machine

 

Requirements:

  • diploma of mechanical expert
  • knowledge and interpretation of mechanical design
  • manual skill and precision
  • use main measuring instruments
